HOLISTIC BIRTH PREPARATION SERIES

This interactive four-week series offers holistic guidance to help you prepare for a confident, empowered birth - on your own terms. More than just information, each class includes practical tools, embodied exercises, self-reflection practices and a deep remembering that you (and your baby!) are the true experts of your own birth.

Session Themes

Week 1: How Birth Works
Physiology, hormones, brainwaves, the innate intelligence of your body, and the rite of passage of birth.

Week 2: The Holistic Stages of Labour
From pregnancy through early postpartum - riding the waves and supporting each stage

Week 3: Informed Choice
Navigating medical interventions, clarifying birth preferences, and practicing advocacy.

Week 4: Body & Breath
Comfort measures, birth positions, mindfulness tools, partner exercises, and embodied birth prep.

Between sessions, you'll be offered optional exercises and practices to deepen your integration at home - because birth is not an intellectual process, nor is it just something you do; it’s how you live.

Even if you're simply exploring the idea of natural birth, this series is for you!

Woven from over 20 years of experience as a doula, yoga teacher, holistic health advocate, and facilitator of feminine empowerment courses, Andrea has lovingly curated this unique offering to support you on every level - body, mind, and spirit - as you prepare for the birth you desire.

Join us for this opportunity to learn in community with other parents-to-be, and walk away with more knowledge, deeper insight, and a greater connection to your inner wisdom - preparing you not just for birth, but for motherhood/parenthood and beyond.

PRENATAL YOGA REST - Taught by Andrea

This nurturing class invites deep relaxation, self-reflection, and connection to your body’s innate wisdom. With a blend of yoga postures, birth-preparation exercises, calming breathwork, and a deeply restorative Yoga Nidrā meditation - you’ll leave feeling more at ease, and attuned to your inner strength and intuition as you prepare for birth and beyond.

PRENATAL YOGA DANCE – Taught by Monelli

This lively and love-filled class is designed to spark joy and inspire deep connection—between you and your baby, your body, and a circle of other mothers. This is a space to connect, have fun, and remember how powerful and radiant you already are. Expect laughter, music, self-expression, and lots of heart.

FREE MOTHER’S SUPPORT CIRCLES

Offering a space for mothers to come together in person and share mutual support and upliftment along their parenting journey. Each month will offer a loose discussion theme - but all topics are welcomed and held within the circle.

Everyone is welcome! - including those who are expecting but haven’t yet given birth.

Please note that this is a peer-led support group, not a therapy session. It’s a safe space to show up as yourself. Come as you are, authentically you!

While this is a FREE offering, pre-registration is required, so we know how many to prepare for, and also because space is limited. Light snacks and tea will be provided.

Babies and children are very welcome; however, if you have access to support for toddlers and older children during this time, it may allow YOU more space to receive the nourishment and support you need during our circle time.

Facilitated by Megan Burnside

Megan is a mom, foster parent, psychology student, maternal mental health advocate and community facilitator. She believes all mothers deserve a tribe for mutual support and to foster belonging and nurture well-being. She is passionate about the power of groups to strengthen community and build resilience. Megan excels at creating a non judgmental space where people feel welcomed, comfortable and accepted. She looks forward to holding space for connection and reflection at the Mother's sharing circles.
