Holistic Postpartum Healing for the New Mother

HOLISTIC POSTPARTUM HEALING FOR THE NEW MOTHER

The birth of a baby is one of the greatest rites of passage a human can move through, during which you are profoundly transformed on EVERY level. As your baby is born, you too are reborn into an entirely new version of yourself!

A transition of this magnitude deserves to be held with intentional care that nourishes the body, mind, senses, and emotions. Yet this is the postpartum planning that not enough people are talking about.

Beyond the birth plan, the bassinet and even the breastfeeding classes - do you know how YOU will be cared for during this most sacred and tender season of your life?

Thankfully, there are wise, time-honoured postpartum traditions we can look to for guidance and inspiration. Join us to rediscover holistic postpartum wisdom from traditions such as Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, and learn how they tend to the postpartum mother’s needs in body, mind and spirit.

We’ll explore some often-overlooked foundations of postpartum care - with a particular focus on food and nourishment : what to eat, why it matters, and how to ensure you’re nourished when you need it most. We’ll also touch on herbal and holistic body-care, and learn how to weave all of this into your own postpartum recovery plan.

You’ll leave with practical tools, nourishing recipes, a postpartum meal-planning framework and instructions for simple restorative body-care practices - along with a deeper understanding of why caring for the new mother matters so much.

This kind of intentional postpartum support is not a luxury. It is foundational care - and it’s time to rebuild a culture where mothers are fully nourished, supported and held after birth - as they hold and care for their babies.
