The importance of true rest and relaxation during pregnancy cannot be under-stated - from helping to grow a healthier, happier baby to facilitating a smoother labour and birth - Relaxation is Key!
Yet there is a difference between superficial relaxation - and true, deep relaxation. True rest and relaxation isn’t just about resting your body, it’s about resting your mind and your nervous system too.
This nurturing class invites deep relaxation, self-reflection, and connection to your body’s innate wisdom. We’ll first move through some yoga postures and calming breathwork in preparation for a deeply restorative Yoga Nidrā meditation. You’ll leave feeling more at ease, and attuned to your inner strength and intuition as you prepare for birth and beyond.
Yoga Nidrā - or ‘Yoga Sleep’ - is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a state of deep rest - a place between waking and sleeping - while still remaining awake and aware. It offers numerous benefits when practiced prenatally and in preparation for birth!
